Christmas Day at Gam's

Here are some pictures of Christmas Day at Gam's house. We drove up on the 25th, very pleasant, uneventful ride. Besnik wore a red Holiday Baby outfit (a gift from Aunt Joyce!)--here it is below, including the little reindeer booties. These were later discarded, because the Piggies got too hot.

Besnik has really started using his hands--he even opened all of his own presents! A larger person had to start the tearing, then he pulled. This is a pre-dinner gift exchange (Xhaxhi Joey couldn't wait until the family exchange).

Teta Annie made fabulous holiday cookies. In a word, decadent.

Besnik was also very impressed with the tree (a real one this year!). Everywhere we went during the holidays, he had to investigate the Christmas trees. Here is a picture of him with Teta, looking at the tree and gifts pre-opening.

Then it was time for gift opening! It took a while for Besnik to open everything, but he had lots of fun.
