Snow Bear II
Snow! We went outside (briefly) in the snow earlier today. We looked at Snow through the window a few days ago, but Besnik didn't get a chance to go out in it before it all melted! Today we just went out to feel it on our fingers and face quick, then came right back in.
Snow Bear was not pleased to be taken back inside so quickly... we are hoping there will be snow to play in this week in Massachusetts. Besnik wants to build snowmen with Teta Annie, if she isn't too busy for her nephew.

I've just come in from setting up a few dozen buckets out in the backyard. It just started snowing about 20 minutes ago. When the buckets are filled with snow, I'm going to bag it and carry it into the house. I've turned off the heat and put ice packs all around so that the snow won't melt. I've packed up Gus and sent him to Katie's, and packed up Gam and brought her to Father Bill's. This way even if the snow melts before Besnik gets here, I'll have an extra supply to put in the yard so we can make snowbears and snowdinosaurs together. I can't tell you how pleased I was when I shucked off my boots and beaver skin coat, sat down to the internet, and discovered that Besnik was preparing for his visit as well.
Also, Annie, if the snow all melts, a certain Auntie Sarah could try sending some Canadian weather by FedEx. LET ME KNOW.
KA and the Bear-man both look so happy in those pictures... very nice. :-)
excellent! it sounds like all our bases are covered! snowbears and snowdinos next week! Besnik is working up some designs right now...
