We had a busy weekend with lots of craftin' going on... Besnik helped with most of it.

Here is Besnik, helping Momma with her crocheting. He is fascinated with the pointy crochet hooks, which bodes well for the future... The Boy is particularly expert at pulling yarn and taking apart stitches--he is very serious about his work. No laughing, all business. You can see how intent he is on his handiwork (there are about ten other pictures of him staring, cross-eyed).
After a few minutes, Besnik realized that pictures were being taken and stopped working so he could pose.

We also finished our stockings today! They aren't yet"hung with care" (or anything else, for that matter), but they are ready for bearded visitors to put candy in. Besnik received a classic red/green combo, but Father and Mother had to have other colors due to lack of fabric scraps.

It took about twenty minutes to get that smile in the above photo; in the rest of the pictures, Mr. Boy looks like this.

He isn't really smiling in this one, either--it is Mother's thumb propping up the smile (like Mr. Ed and the wire). Besnik has been in a grumpy mood all day on account of his teeth, but he is trying to fight it. If you sing one of his songs to him as he fusses, he laughs and cries at the same time--usually the laughing wins out. Very tough--tough as nails. We went to the mall today, and even though he was grumbly because of his teeth, he spent the whole time resting and napping with Father in his baby sack.

that second stocking photo is classic nick face.
The first photo looks like Cubist Baby. Or cyborg baby, with a GIANT EYE.
