Santa!

Santa came to Long Island a little bit early last week... On Christmas Eve, Besnik decided to stay up to help Momma wrap presents for the next day, so we decided to just let him play with his present. It is an "exersaucer" activity center where the Baby stands up in the middle and has a few different "stations" to look at/touch/hit. It was pretty miserable to put together, and I swore at it, scraped my fingers on plastic parts, and lost parts of it in cliched Christmas-Eve-father-toy-construction fashion.

Here is Besnik with his stocking--he got bubbles for when it is warmer out.

This is the activity center. Baby stands up and can swivel to access a range of little toys. We didn't think he'd be big enough to move around yet, but with a hand for support, he can move just fine. Strange man--he moved from right to left, yelling at and/or conquering each little activity. He'd play with each just long enough to figure out what it was about, then move to the next.

The Baby pushes the parts of this activity with his hands and little bells ring. Or alternately, the Baby rubs them back and forth, furrows his brow, and shrieks like a dinosaur at the toy.

Here is a view from the top.

And from the bottom. The little kicking legs get pretty good traction on this bottom; Besnik is a big fan of standing up, so this should get good use.
That is it for Christmas (Eve) at home! More to come later...
