One quick Besnik story...

Tonight, B and KA picked me up at Stony Brook after work. As we pulled out of the university, an administrator drove past us, and I said, "Oh, that is Dean So-and-so." "Who is Dean So-and-so, Babi?" from the back seat. Thinking I would quickly end the coming barrage of questions, I said, "Oh, just a man that works with Babi." Besnik, in a kind of dismissive, clipped tone, immediately asked, "What kind of man works with Babi?"

Hmm, not sure the tone comes through on a blog post, but it sounded like B was questioning the manhood of *anyone* who worked with Babi. I don't *think* he meant it that way, but we all had a nice laugh.
