Percussionist in Training

Auntie Miki and Uncle Russell came over for brunch a couple weeks ago. When planning for that visit, we had some confusion about whether Mickey Mouse himself would be coming or not. When it turned out to be "just Miki", we were a little unsure about how exciting the visit would be. But then they arrived.... with chocolate penguins in tow.... and Besnik was smitten. He had Miki held captive in his room for quite some time, showing her about all of his toys and books. Then, Besnik spent the entirety of brunch watching Russell across the table and mimicking his motions. Uncle Russell is a percusionist and his hands don't usually sit still. Besnik sat across from him and was transfixed by the hand movements (he also laughed LOUDLY at all of Russell's jokes...) Since then, Besnik often taps the table with imaginary drumsticks... always with a very serious expression on his face.
