Father-Son Christmas Outfits, Year 1!
Besnik and I have begun a most wonderful and fanciful experiment...how long can I get him to wear special, matching Christmas clothes with me? Every year, I am going to make matching little holiday outfits for us until he refuses to dress up. This year, I sewed matching snowflake bow-ties. The idea is to see how long he will put up with father-son outfits. Sure, toddlers get excited about 'looking like Dad.' I am sure even a five year-old would love matching reindeer-themed vests. But what about an eight-year old? Will a fourteen-year-old Besnik be excited about homemade Rudolph cummerbunds (with noses that really glow?!)? We will see, we will see. I am betting I can push it to at least 2019 or 2020 (11-12 years old) before he rebels once and for all. Of course, if a thirty-something Besnik is coming up out of his basement apartment in 2043, asking me what we are going to do for the 33rd annual father-son Christmas outfit theme, that is probably a problem, too.

amazing. that last line is how I was imagining this turning out..
By the time Besnik refuses to wear his Rudolph cummerbund, I bet leisure suits will be back in, and you can bring Papa back in time and all wear those!!!
