The Plant...

We wanted to buy Besnik something to take care of for Christmas. We thought about a fish but then decided that we don't usually have the kind of pets that live the normal life expectancy for said species... and we didn't particularly want to be faced with the question of what to do with fish come August. So, we decided on a small plant that he can water and tend to.

We bought this little beauty a couple days before we gave it to the boy and, in those days, we forgot all about it! It sat, in a plastic bag, right next to the stove while I cooked a big dinner and steamed up the room. Alas, it hasn't really been in the best shape ever since. But, Besnik continues to check on it every day and water it whenever is appropriate. Here are some pictures..
