the Besnik anecdote project #4
Besnik met Bolba, a German Shepherd with a Russian name living in Albania. Apparently, Bolba spends the days in a gated off portion of the outdoor park/cafe we frequent. From 5 feet away, Besnik was all talk -- dancing, yelling, singing and trying to get Bolba's attention. Then, I moved him closer and was petting Bolba -- B stopped all the attention-getting antics, but was still interested. Then Bolba licked my hand and B backed up into my arms with a little yelp. Those teeth may have been too much for the small man. Once he was up in my arms, though, and Bolba was below him, he was immediately all talk again. Ever since then, he has been desperately trying to sneak a peak into the gated off area to see his new canine friend.

That's great Besnik. Keep visiting Bolba so that you won't be afraid of Brandy when you come home. Brandy will probably be afraid of you running around.

This all reminds me of the neighbor's cats in my driveway. He was VERY insistent that I should let him touch them -- a lot of pointing, and then looking at me as if to say, "DO YOU NOT SEE THIS FASCINATING CREATURE? And if so, why on EARTH are you not letting me touch it?". Reasonable attitude for a small man, haha.
