Brookhaven zoo trip
We went on an outing to the Brookhaven zoo today--they have animals that have been injured or were kept as pets and aren't able to go back into the wild. Besnik has been there several times (a well-traveled young man), but it was still nice to see the eagle, falcon, foxes, cows, Sicilian ponies (!), and others. Oh, bears, too. Mr B spent most of the trip trying to catch other humans' attention--waving, talking, even walking up and touching people on the arm. Not much luck, though, but only one month until Albania! The countdown is on, and B is optimistic that Albanians will be friendlier than Long Islanders (a safe bet). Check out the chins three pics down--scary!

Well, two things... first, seems the animal (a goat?) and B have low opinions of each other. Seond, that is one FAT baby!!! I hope that hiking the mountains of Albania in search of friends will slim him down.

Great, Great Nana would have loved those chins and chubby cheeks!
Love, Nana
I see some family resemblance in that top picture (it looks like KA's genes did, in fact, contribute as well). Even the hair part is the same ;)
I see some family resemblance between KA and B in the third pic from the top...
