Thunder Thighs

Last night, Besnik had a big couple hours. First, he pulled himself up with the rocking chair and walked over to the wine glass stand all by himself. It's not the farthest distance he has ever walked, but the first time he has done all the work himself -- he was quite proud! Thus began the baby-proofing of the Tochka household...

Soon after the walking, Nick was getting Besnik's bath ready and Besnik grabbed onto his pants and said "Dada" very clearly! This was the first "d" sound and it was very clear that he knew who he was talking to : ) He repeated it once more last night but hasn't made any "d's" yet today.

Below are some pictures of Besnik after the big walk to the wine stand. He is removing all of the DVDs and stacking them (while standing unassisted!) As you can see in the last picture, he is making Momma (once called "thunder thighs" by Nana and Papa) proud.
