Work, Work, Work
Besnik has been very busy these last couple days -- music class, a new library class (where he became transfixed by an older woman -- or, by her colorful sneakers as the case may be), lots of errands including helping Momma try on bridesmaid shoes, and a couple hours at the laundromat. While at the laundromat, he was the center of quite a bit of attention (particularly from the under 10 segment) -- our table was surrounded by little people wanting to talk to a man who was more interested in the overhead fans, spinning laundry and big screen tvs. Besnik also enjoyed riding around in the cart while we moved loads from washers to dryers to the folding counter. I have a great picture of him sitting among lots of clothes in the cart but it's on my telephone so not blog-able -- let us know if you want it sent to your telephone!
Here are two pictures of the Man at work. In the first, he is reading up on Duke Alumni news. I usually just check the marriage/baby news but he wanted to read about all the scientific breakthroughs instead. The second picture shows him working on one of his cubes o' sweet potato. We read that it often takes time to introduce babies to food of different temperatures, but Besnik showed only a momentary look of surprise when presented with an ice cube of his puree. Now he sucks it down like an old pro -- he also loves these little food holders because he can hold them himself while eating instead of having one of us spoon-feed him.
