Countdown....
Only two more weeks until Besnik reaches one of the most important milestones a young man can reach... six months! Right now talkativeness is increasing, food-eating is in full bloom, friendship with stuffed animals is becoming more cordial, and respect-for-beagle's-personal-space is waning by the day. One begins to forget what a strange little creature he was (and sometimes, too often, still is...).
To commemorate the big 1/2, we are going to post a countdown of previously unseen pictures over the next two weeks until the big day! (No worries, there will be other current posts, too.) So welcome to the first installment of "The Top 14 Never Before Blogged Besnik Moments!"

did he already have SHPS at this point?
You raise a very interesting question, Annie. While we had noticed Besnik's tendency toward alarmingly hot pigs even during this first week, most pigologists won't diagnose SHPS until month 2, so we were not able to get the diagnosis nor the special services (permit for public display of pigs, handicap parking pass, etc.) until then.
