Polite Signs
We were SHOCKED by the pleasant nature of street signs – here are some examples we were able to document. Also, we experienced morning rush hour on the Underground (mistakenly!) and it seemed like some sort of alternate universe -- people squished into overcrowded cars but it was almost completely silent (no yelling at all) and the people on the platform who didn’t make it on just moved a little closer to the yellow line, patiently waiting for the next train.
I think they're all straight-forward. The fourth picture was a sign on a display at the Science Museum -- we thought it was funny that, in addition to apologizing for the talking clock not working properly, they offered the name and whereabouts of someone you could talk to about it. As if the average museum patron would be that worked up about this one item. Also, the last picture is typical of the ground at every single crosswalk in London. hahaha. You could actually see people look down, read the direction, then look for cars coming from the appropriate direction. This was also helpful because Nick and I had both had some close calls while crossing in Oxford and looking for cars coming from the wrong direction.
More Besnik tomorrow! I promise :)

Great signs. I love the first one.
Love, Nana
hahaha awesome.
That "Look Right" sign is INVALUABLE. I was almost hit by a car shortly after leaving my hotel in London, but was saved at the last minute by that sign!
My people are nothing if not a polite people.
(If anyone has any issue with my comment, or it is not in the right place in the queue, then, I shall rectify it as soon as I am made aware of the problem.)
