That might seem like quite a bit of travel/wait time for a small man but Besnik was on cloud nine. Thankfully, his love of buses hit an all-time high after all the traveling he did when Papa was here. He was so excited to take the bus to the airport for our trip that, while waiting for the bus to pull up, he was anxiously pointing at a car stopped in the bus' space, as if to indicate that it was going to have to move and that maybe someone should do something about it. He wasn't bothered by the changes in air pressure at all (Nick and I found the descent into London particularly painful) and was ready to jump off the plane and onto the shuttle bus back to the terminal immediately. He also discovered a love of escalators and especially enjoyed taking them in his stroller. The Underground was very exciting (first subway experience) – Besnik spent most of the time holding onto the bars like all the adults were doing, though he occasionally stopped to flirt with other passengers. One such passenger said “goodbye” and got off the train, then heard Besnik's loud “baaaaaaaye” and ran back to put her hand up to the window next to him until we started moving.
