Besnik Anecdote Project

We were enjoying dinner at the Stephen's Center, the missionary-owned cafe/hotel in Tirana that serves a variety of food you can't really find elsewhere. We were there for the quesadillas on Thursday. Besnik was in the highchair, finishing up his food, when his waiter friend came over with a dancing Santa Claus doll. He put it on the table and tapped the doll's foot. Besnik's eyes went SO wide as he stared at the doll. While the waiter was at the table, he held his composure (you don't want your friends to know when you're scared!) But, immediately after the waiter stepped away, the eyes got even wider and he started squirming to get out of the seat and sit with Mom or Dad. I'm not sure how he would fare with a real Santa Claus just now :)
