Ferries, Trains & Automobiles

Besnik and Momma took a spontaneous trip to MA this week and had a great time! We traveled by various means of transportation - Besnik's favorite being the Metro North train which offered him room to stand up, look out windows and talk to crazy people. We visited with lots of family (including four new kitty cousins) and enjoyed being the center of attention very much. Besnik also took advantage of the audience to start walking - 5 steps, then 7, then 9 and reaching his destination! He is even able to take a few steps, re-balance, then take a few more steps! Once we arrived at home, he insisted upon trying it out for Daddy before taking a much-needed nap.

Also, in exciting news -- we have the beginnings of a tooth! There is a little sharp part sticking out that you can actually see (if the fat tongue gets out of the way.)

And, finally, we bought Besnik's first pair of shoes! They are more like mocassins, I guess -- chubby, chubby feet didn't fit into the appropriate Stride Rite level of shoe (beginning-walker) so he had to get the more flexible pre-walker style.
