Time for Soy Dogs!
Well, Besnik is now a full-fledged solid eater (not yet a swallower or some solids, but that will come). Dinner, breakfast, lunch, all times for battle and subterfuge. We've starting putting his little biscuits and other things on our plates, because he won't eat them if he thinks they are "baby food." Even so, there are often mini-meltdowns when someone is eating something that is both tasty looking and wickedly inappropriate for babies--like soy hot dogs.
Abstinence programs should put this above picture on pamphlets and buttons to hand out to high school students. "Imagine never being able to enjoy a tasty soy dog again without a smaller human screaming and trying to steal it from you."
Besnik had a range of foods in front of him, including some mashed up soy dog, but he needed the actual item in the form Trader Joe's intends it to be consumed...anything else just isn't a choking hazard.

Maybe you should make some mock food that tastes terrible, say a plaster hot dog covered in red pepper. That would teach the Boy a lesson. Though he does look adorable eating the actual hot dog and you should both know the heimlich for babies anyhow.
